This site is about capturing iguanas. Once you catch them, they become your problem! You cannot release them. Your local Animal Control department will not likely take them off your hands. You can euthanize them but it must be done in a humane way recognized by the State.
I was not an expert but I am now. I am a homeowner that had a big iguana problem and I have done many things to solve the problem. I’m sharing my personal experience and solutions with you with hoping you will be able to solve the problem yourself.
The time to catch Iguanas is now. Don't wait for nesting seaon to come around again where they can dig many holes and destroy your lawn. Each nesting female can lay as many as 70 eggs and catching them now is important. See the new Havahart Cage Trap Section on this site.
